Back in March I just casted on using Malabrigo Sock yarn (color: “Persia”), no math involved. About a week in:
2nd week-ish, the never-ending stockinette (st st).
And then early April, the final photos were taken!

Grandma’s Shawl
This pattern is actually called “Splendid Triangle Shawl” and can be found online (for free) on lionbrand.com; you’ll need to sign up for an account (also free) to view it.
It calls for Lionbrand Homespun, I had trouble getting it to come out the first time so this time I wound up using Michael’s Loops & Threads on US 9.
